Principal
Rey A. Mayoral
Mr. Mayoral grew up in East Los Angeles and attended schools in Los Angeles Unified School District. He graduated from Garfield High School. His post-secondary education included two years at East Los Angeles College, and graduation from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelors of Science. He also earned his Masters in Education with his teaching credential from Cal Poly. He continued at Cal Poly and completed his Bilingual/Cross-Cultural Specialist Credential. He earned his Administrative Credential at Pepperdine University.
He earned his Superintendent License from Portland State University. Mr. Mayoral worked for the Los Angeles Unified School District as a Teacher, Athletic Director, Dean of Students, Assistant Principal, and Principal in Oregon. Rey has been the Principal at Novato High School since 2004.

Lynn Erikson
Ms. Erikson grew up in the East Bay. She graduated from Sonoma State with a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. After working in the banking industry Ms. Erikson enrolled in the credential program at Saint Mary’s College in Moraga and began teaching mathematics. Ms Erikson taught mathematics at both high school and middle school. Ms. Erikson continued her education completing her Administrative Credential at Cal State East Bay and her Master’s in Education in Instruction at Saint Mary’s College. Ms. Erikson joined the administrative team at Novato High School in 2005.
